ABOUT ME

I’m a licensed architect and multifaceted designer with 14 years of experience leading spatial design projects across cultural institutions, luxury environments, and high-end residential and commercial spaces. Currently, I serve as an Exhibition Designer at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, where I craft refined, concept-driven environments that elevate artwork, enhance visitor experience, and reflect institutional identity.

My work lives at the intersection of creative vision and pragmatic precision. I bridge the poetic and the practical—bringing clarity, momentum, and emotional intelligence to complex projects. A trusted collaborator across curatorial, production, and executive teams, I navigate diverse stakeholder needs with empathy and confidence, ensuring design solutions are as strategic as they are beautiful.

Driven by a deep curiosity about the human condition and our relationship to space, I explore the emotional dynamics of love, loss, connection, and joy through multiple mediums—from architectural design and visual art to curatorial experiences and immersive exhibitions. I believe design is a tool for storytelling and transformation—capable of shaping how we see ourselves, each other, and the world.

Rooted in formal training and licensure as an architect in New York City, my practice is guided by a commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. Having lived in dense urban environments my entire life, I’m particularly drawn to biophilic design as a means of reconnection—an invitation to rebuild our bond with nature and recognize the interwoven networks that sustain life.

Whether designing an exhibition, a home, or a collective experience, I seek to create spaces that honor the dignity of their inhabitants, awaken the senses, and leave a lasting emotional imprint.

At present, my practice encompasses four distinct yet interconnected avenues of exploration:

Exhibition Design: My work in exhibition design spans leading institutions such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art, where I guide projects from conceptual sketches through 3D visualizations and final installation. I approach exhibition design as a spatial art form—where narrative, emotion, and physical environment converge. Each project becomes an opportunity to craft immersive experiences that are intellectually engaging, emotionally resonant, and aligned with brand identity. This practice reflects my passion for honoring stories—whether ancient or contemporary—and presenting them with precision, elegance, and care.

Architecture: I am the co-founder of BOHIO Architecture Studio, a design practice focused on residential, hospitality, and retail architecture. Our humanistic approach emphasizes material sensitivity, cultural context, and spatial storytelling. At BOHIO, we explore design across multiple scales—including wearables, furniture, and décor—and I provide consultancy in strategy, design, and construction management. I am also a passionate advocate for integrating bamboo and other regenerative materials into contemporary construction.

Art: I use visual art as a tool for introspection, self-discovery, and creative expression—navigating both the familiar and the unknown within myself through a range of mediums.

Cultural Event Curation: I am passionate about designing collective experiences that center live art, joy, connection, and healing. Whether intimate salons or large-scale gatherings, these curated moments reflect my belief in the power of space, art, and ritual to foster belonging and transformation.
